Yes, all of our products are tested for heavy metals. For any item that's tested and results in an amount higher than the state of California's thresholds, you will see a Prop 65 statement on the packaging of the product page. Currently, all Blue Stripes packaging does not hold this notice. If you happen to see a product of ours with the notice, it is from a previous production.

Yes, our products are gluten free. While our products may be co-manufactured on lines that are exposed to gluten from other productions, the lines are thoroughly cleaned after production runs, and we perform testing to verify each of our production runs are below the 20 ppm threshold. 

Because we pride ourselves on being a plant-based company, all of our products are certified vegan by Vegan Action.

The vast majority of our products are certified kosher pareve by Orthodox Union Kosher. If you don't see an OU mark on a product's page, then it is not kosher.

All products aside from Cacao Water and Dried Cacao Fruit are produced using equipment that also processes tree nuts, peanuts, soy, milk, & wheat.

Cacao Water & Dried Cacao Fruit contain absolutely no caffeine whatsoever. Our chocolate bars and snacks naturally contain some caffeine, however, the maximum amount would be less than 5 mg per serving. Whole Cacao Granolas and Whole Cacao Trail Mixes contain even smaller/marginal amounts of caffeine per serving due to the lesser amounts of chocolate present.

We source our cacao from Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Not like chocolate! Cacao Water has a very tropical, tangy, and fruity flavor to it that's very subtle and refreshing.

Yes, we offer free shipping for orders over $50.

For orders under $50, the flat rate shipping fee is $7.90.

At this time, we only ship within the 48 contiguous United States.

Due to FedEx being our primary shipping provider, we cannot ship to PO Boxes.

All Blue Stripes products with meltable chocolate (e.g., Whole Cacao Chocolate Bars, Chocolate Covered Whole Cacao Beans, Whole Cacao Trail Mixes) are shipped express (depending on distance from our fulfillment center) and packed with ice inside of an insulated box. These boxes can withstand the maximum transit time it takes to arrive. The shipment should be okay if left outside waiting for a couple of hours as long as it's not an abnormally hot day or sat directly in the sun. In any case, it's best to bring the package inside as soon as possible and store it in a cool & dry place.

Please allow up to 3-5 business days for processing before orders ship from our warehouse.

Once your order is processed and ready to ship, it will be sent via FedEx (Ground or Air, depending on your proximity to our shipping facilities).
